Morocco has been a whirlwind! After a wonderful week in my homestay in rabat and a week up in the atlas mountains, I had one week of spring break. Unfortunately, that was spent with two visits to the hospital and a week in bed with multiple infections, but all is great now!

Today after working on my homework all day and relaxing and recuperating, I went to the beach with some friends. I ran into the ocean and dipped under. It was rejuvenating to leave my hotel for the first time in ten days for an adventure for pure fun. And for the adventure to be an 86 degree beach day with sunshine and sand and ocean and beach town was the perfect way to get back in the swing of things. I have learned a lot here and I continue to look forward to Marrakesh, Casablanca and then Bolivia.

It snowed for a day in the mountains, which was a shocking change of pace. We woke up to a winter wonderland, which could have been upstate New York and then drove back to Rabat, which was sunny and beautiful.

For the couple of hours that I was in Fez it seemed amazing as well. I hope to return to Morocco someday to spend more time in Agadir, by the beach and exploring the medina of Fez.
