In 11 days, my boyfriend and I drove from New York to California, hoping to find the best food, most interesting places and manage to fit in some of the best hikes. We ended up having a really rewarding adventure.

Day One: Nick and I left Tivoli on Sunday morning and spent the afternoon playing soccer in Central Park, eating ice cream and enjoying Indian food with my family in New York. On our next day, we drove to Sophia’s house in West Virginia- passing through New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Maryland and Virginia. Side note- we used a really helpful app that I totally recommend if you’re planning a long road trip called Furkot.

From Lewisburg, WV, we went down to Atlanta, Georgia. Atlanta was such a dream! I really loved the upbeat energy of the city and seeing how everything geographically connected. We went to Piedmont Park and walked on the beltline to Ponce Market. After, we went to visit the Olympic Rings.

Next, we headed down to New Orleans, Louisiana! If you want to check out, Parts Two, Three or Four of the trip, click for the links.
