I had the most incredible opportunity to visit Caro and Mariana in Mexico City this year. Although Mexico is so close to California, I never had been before my trip and now that I have, I completely fell in love with it and hope to return someday soon. I really love Mexican cuisine and culture so that greatly added to my love for the place. One of my favorite parts of my week in Mexico was our roadtrip up to Querétaro, Bernal and San Miguel de Allende. In Bernal, there was the solstice festival while we were there. We first hiked the mountain and then walked around the streets and got fresh bread and later, had margaritas. After, we headed to Querétaro for the night and stayed in the most interesting holistic hotel called Hotel Dos Patios. In the morning, we drove over to San Miguel de Allende and walked around. We made sure to make use of the incredible brunch buffet at the Rosewood. Afterwards, we headed back to Mexico City. I definitely plan to return to Mexico and explore other parts of the country!
